The Moorpark Packers Youth Football Program has been around since 1989 and continues to be the best place for kids to learn how to play football and transition to the next level of play at Moorpark High School. The Packer name (chosen by MHS playersin 1989), colors (green-gold chosen to match the high school) and football field (a dedicated field at Arroyo Park) are all part of the history of youth football in Moorpark. The Moorpark Packers Youth Football program for the past 17 years has been the place for youth to play football and will continue to be -- for many years to come.

The Packers are pleased to have been part of the inauguration 2005 season of the Gold Coast Youth Football League (GCYFL). As expected there was and in some cases continues to be some tension about the decision to leave the previous league ... but all the politics aside ... results have shown that the correct decision was made.
